Your lucky number and color from Korean Saju
In Korean Saju everyone has an element that balances them, the yongsin (용신). That element has its own numbers, color and direction in five-element theory. Enter your birth date and we'll show them, plus a number for today.
Changes every day with the day pillar of the Korean calendar.
Where these numbers come from
Your birth date gives three Saju pillars: year, month and day. We count the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) and check whether your Day Master is strong or weak.
If it is weak, the element that feeds it helps. If it is strong, the element it controls balances it. That is your useful element.
The numbers come from the Hado (하도), an ancient diagram: wood 3 and 8, fire 2 and 7, earth 5 and 10, metal 4 and 9, water 1 and 6. Colors and directions follow the Korean five colors (오방색). It's a traditional reading for inspiration, not a guarantee.
FAQ
What is my lucky number by birth date?
In Korean Saju it depends on your useful element: wood 3 and 8, fire 2 and 7, earth 5 and 10, metal 4 and 9, water 1 and 6. The calculator works it out from your date.
What if I don't know my birth time?
That's fine. We use the three pillars your date gives. With the time, the full report can refine it.
Does today's number change?
Yes, every day, with the day pillar of the Korean calendar and your element.
